The weekend of sunshine and hot weather was not one to be missed and it seems that most of the mountain bikers in the south were shredding their way round the same awesome trails as i was in the north downs.
Saturday saw me making the most of some great bridle way (yes, i too was shocked that there is some!) and some even better little pumpy rat runs.
Sunday was all about the Peaslake trails though and i take my hat off, those are very good trails! The new bike handled the climbs well and ate up the sweet and technical descents even better.
All i can really say is if you’re in the south, and haven’t hit the peaslake trails yet this weekend is the time to do it, oh yeah and make sure you grab a cheese twist from the village shop and pop into the most quaint little well stocked country bike shop.
